Can ProMatrix be Microsoft-certified?
Yes. ProMatrix is built without external network calls and meets all requirements for Microsoft certification of Power BI visuals. We can assist with the certification process if needed.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. The license key is activated once and stored locally. ProMatrix works fully offline – ideal for use behind firewalls and in environments with strict network requirements.
Is ProMatrix GDPR compliant?
Yes. No data is sent outside your Power BI tenant. We do not process report data, and the visual has no telemetry or data sharing with third parties.
What happens when the license expires?
ProMatrix falls back to the free version: reports still display, but Pro/Premium features (Excel export, calculated columns, advanced formatting, IBCS) and watermark removal require renewal. You never lose access to your own data.
Can I upgrade from Free to Pro or Premium?
Yes, at any time. You pay the difference for the remaining license period. Contact us at post@jhl.no and we'll sort it out quickly.
Is the license per user, company or group?
Not per user. Pro covers one company (one legal entity), Premium covers an entire group of multiple companies. All users in the licensed entity can use ProMatrix at no extra cost.
